Doping & withdrawal periods

Classify the components of a mix under the FN ADMR and FEI rules. The explorer shows known withdrawal periods and makes visible when details on product form, amount or concentration are missing.

The four classifications

Compliant according to FN ADMR

The official FN database lists the substance as compliant in the stated form and use. The specific product and the current database status remain authoritative.

Check the product declaration and current status

Depends on amount or concentration

The FN database ties the classification to daily amount or concentration. If compliance with the conditions cannot be proven, it usually states a withdrawal period.

Check the daily amount or concentration against the FN entry

Withdrawal period according to FN

The FN states a withdrawal period between the last dose and the start for this substance. The current entry is authoritative.

Plan the withdrawal period before the start

Not clearly classified

The official lists used do not give a clear classification for this feed, or it only applies to a specific product form that the explorer does not record.

Clarify officially before use

Put your mix together. As soon as decisive product details are missing, the result explicitly remains open.

Classification of your selection

Select the components of your mix below. The explorer only knows the substance name, not product form, daily amount, concentration or analysis.

The checkbox adds a component to your selection. Clicking the name shows which condition the classification depends on, which detail is missing or which withdrawal period the FN states.

Classification

What the explorer can assess

The explorer knows the selected substance names. Product form, daily amount, concentration and lab analysis are not recorded.

If a product form or an official classification is missing, the explorer deliberately shows no withdrawal period. If the classification depends on amount or concentration, it names the condition and the withdrawal period the FN states without proof – as guidance, not as a calculated withdrawal period for the mix.

ADMR (FN) and FEI are not identical

For national competitions in Germany, the FN's ADMR is authoritative. For international starts, the FEI's rules and lists apply.

The classifications can differ. So check the current rules that apply to the specific start.

Product form and concentration are part of the check

A substance name alone is often not enough. Depending on the entry, the form of the raw material, the daily amount fed and the concentration can be decisive for the classification.

If the product declaration does not clearly contain these details, the product's manufacturer should confirm them and the classification should be checked against the official lists.
